The Volcano-16 is powered by a 390 brushed motor and splashproof brushed ESC/receiver. High Steer (HS): To achieve the High Steer geometry we were looking for, we’ve redesigned the front axle housing, front portal, steering links, and added front portal universal shafts. This new “HIGH STEER” (HS) design provides increased steering and more ground clearance at the C-Hub and gives this mini crawler even more steering than its predecessors.
Ball bearings: The Ascent-18 uses ball bearings, instead of bushings, throughout the vehicle to ensure smooth operation and longevity, setting it apart in the 1:18 scale crawler market.

Powering the MT-18 is a potent 58T 180-sized motor and a 2-in-1 RX/ESC combo. The receiver and ESC, which are built into a single compact unit, keep weight to a minimum and also maximize chassis real estate. This allows extra room for shifting weight bias with different electronic layouts. The included high quality 2.4Ghz radio system offers dual rates, channel reversing and trims for precision control. A conveniently placed three position selector switch can be set up for optional rear steering, if the user decides to convert the MT-18 to 4WS.

One of the things that makes the LRH285 Designers Show Kit so customizable is its chrome base. There are so many builders out there who have custom painted their Redcat lowrider chassis, chromed them, and have done some pretty wild things to make them stand out. With the chrome base, builders can either leave it as mirror chrome, or spray candy colors over the top of the chrome to achieve some amazing effects. Builders could even layer a light coat of colored metal flake, suspended in clear, before applying candy to achieve an absolutely wild effect. This is a lowrider after all, and in the lowrider community, metal flake and candy colors are where it’s at. We usually see candy colors sprayed over top of a silver base coat, which is beautiful, but a candy coat sprayed over top of a chrome base gives an entirely different effect and is absolutely gorgeous.

GEN9 Scout 800A 1/10 Electric RC Scale Trail Truck- Includes: 2.4Ghz Radio, Ready to Run, Battery and Charger Not Included
If you’re looking for a RTR trail truck with unlimited potential, you’ve found it with the Gen9. We’ve been designing a lot of our own vehicles lately and the Gen9 is a great example of our ingenuity and obsession with detail. Loaded with important features, the Gen9 has a two speed transmission, newly designed portal axles, precision suspension geometry with zero bump steer, new high grip tires, high torque steering servo, adjustable wheelbase and a highly detailed body with a rear pivot mounting design.
When you look at the Gen9, you can’t help but notice the meticulously crafted officially licensed International Scout 800A body. The body is molded in three separate pieces which allows for a more realistic full depth interior. The body is internally braced and uses a rear locking pivot mechanism with dual quarter turn fasteners up front. This system reliably secures the body in place and provides easy removal when needed. The sides of the body tuck neatly into the injection molded plastic rock sliders for minimal hang ups over jagged rocks. We’ve also included many injection molded plastic details that really make this body really stand out.
On the interior you’ll find an injection molded dash, seats, pedals, shifters, door levers, window cranks, removable steering wheel and we’ve even added a turn signal lever on the steering column. The exterior includes an injection molded roll cage, rock sliders, bumpers, side view mirrors, door handles, windshield wipers, front grill, headlight buckets and taillight buckets. This is one highly detailed body.
The Gen9 has been designed to accept 14 LED lights out of the box. While the lights are sold separately, there’s a spot for two dash lights, four headlights, two taillights, two reverse lights, and four rock lights located inside the fender wells. All the mounting hardware is included, so it’ll be a breeze to set the Gen9 up for night time crawling.
The gen9 includes a two speed transmission which provides loads of versatility over many different types of terrain. First gear gives the driver ultimate control over difficult obstacles, while second gear allows the driver to blast through trails at double the speed. Shifting gears is as easy as pressing a button on the included transmitter. The heavy duty transmission uses a 32P spur gear and a lockable adjustable slipper clutch. The pinion and spur gears are enclosed so they are kept safe from rocks and debris. The transmission, transfer case and portal axles all have MOD1 internal gears for superior strength and durability. The Gen9 also has a front mounted 550 size brushed motor and a divorced transfer case to put the weight where it’s needed.
We’ve gone overboard and installed a very powerful steering servo in the Gen9. The new Hexfly Torque-Spec coreless digital steering servo is mounted to a 1.5mm steel C-channel chassis and is designed specifically for trail crawling. Using the stock ESC, The Torque-Spec servo provides an impressive 25Kg of steering authority right out the box. If upgraded to an 8.4V BEC power system, this servo is capable of an amazing 42Kg of steering torque. That’s a lot of steering power. Unlike many RTR trail trucks on the market, even if you plan on replacing the power system one day, there is absolutely no need to upgrade this steering servo.
The Gen9 uses new portal axles along with a specially designed panhard bar to completely eliminate bump steer and axle sway. This allows the driver to take more precise lines and ultimately have more vehicle control. Portal axles provide more ground clearance without needing bigger tires. On the GEN9, much of the gear reduction happens inside the portal axles, which means less chassis torque twist than traditional axle shaft driven trail trucks. The new portal axles provide 54.5mm of ground clearance and include metal gear covers, metal wheel hexes, CNC machined spools and captured shock mounts.
These new universal style axles have a one piece front housing and they provide loads of steering and durability. They are much stronger than previous axle designs and may be the strongest axles we’ve built yet.
Tires are just one of those things that many hobbyists end up replacing on their new RTR trail trucks, but not on the Gen9. True to scale, licensed Interco SS M-16 tires and functional beadlock wheels pull the Gen9 through the toughest terrains. These tires have an aggressive tread pattern and are in a high grip compound, so they should perform exceptionally well on rocks and trails alike. These tires are right in the sweet spot of grippiness and squish, for crawling, and stability for faster paced trail riding.
Each of the M-16 tires is mounted to a beadlock rim which utilizes inner and outer aluminum beadlock rings for maximum strength and tire holding capability. The beadlocks have the addition of an interchangeable decorative plastic ring that fits over the functional metal beadlock ring, which provides the driver with the possibility of customizing the look of their wheel while maintaining maximum performance. One of the things that makes the LRH285 Designers Show Kit so customizable is its gold base. There are so many builders out there who have custom painted their Redcat lowrider chassis, goldd them, and have done some pretty wild things to make them stand out. With the gold base, builders can either leave it as mirror gold, or spray candy colors over the top of the gold to achieve some amazing effects. Builders could even layer a light coat of colored metal flake, suspended in clear, before applying candy to achieve an absolutely wild effect. The fully licensed 1979 Chevrolet Monte Carlo body is a highly detailed 3 piece body, with painted side mirrors, clear windows, detailed interior, injection molded chrome plastic details, chrome decals, magnetic body mounts and is LED light ready. The Monte Carlo is available in green or purple. A clear body will also be available for purchase for those of you who want to do your own custom paint job. The Redcat Monte Carlo is the first to use the new LR260 chassis with a solid rear axle and independent front suspension. One of the most exciting features of the new Monte Carlo is the ability to raise and lower each of the four wheels independently while driving. This is done by using a total of five servos, one for each of the four wheels and one for steering. Another exciting feature of the LR260 chassis is that it will fit hundreds of aftermarket bodies with the included optionally installed body posts.
The Redcat Monte Carlo includes the LR6X six channel 2.4GHz computer radio system that utilizes lowrider style switches. There are many fellow RC enthusiasts running their 1/10 scale vehicles at the local RC park. Dropping the large scale Rampage Chimera sand rail to the ground, you fill up its 500cc gas tank with pre-mixed unleaded gasoline/oil. You prepare the Chimera for its starting sequence by pushing the primer bulb a few times and rotating the choke lever. The Redcat KAIJU EXT - 1:8 Scale MT – RTR- 6S Ready is a Beast!
The 1:8 scale Kaiju EXT is the ultimate monster truck in performance and stability. While the Kaiju EXT started off as an extended version of the original Kaiju, it has grown into a whole new beast. The Kaiju EXT has an extended wheelbase, along with some additional major performance upgrades. These upgrades include new belted tires, motor heatsink with fan, new motor mount, metal servo horn, rear wing and a new race bred body that includes a working air scoop.
The Kaiju EXT’s chassis provides the truck with a wheelbase of 360mm. That’s an additional 51mm of wheelbase over the original Kaiju. The original Kaiju is an incredibly fun truck to drive, especially while using a 6S LiPo to perform standing backflips and pulling wheelies at almost any speed. The Kaiju EXT is fully capable of the same backflips and even longer wheelies due to its added stability.
The Kaiju EXT’s chassis is super durable and encloses the entire drivetrain to protect it from rocks and debris. Three heavy duty sealed differentials, each with metal internal gears are designed to provide smooth performance and are completely tuneable. The center differential helps the Kaiju EXT perform like a race bred monster truck on or off the track.
The Kaiju EXT is 6S ready and will accept single or double LIPO batteries. The Kaiju EXT can handle a single 6S LIPO or double 3S LIPO batteries. If you prefer to run 4S through the Kaiju EXT, you’ll be happy to know it is also capable of running a single 4S LIPO or double 2S LIPO batteries. The Kaiju EXT uses the popular T-style battery connectors and includes a jumper for single battery pack configurations.
Hobbywing’s powerful 150A Brushless ESC and 4-pole 4068 2100Kv brushless motor are both waterproof and dustproof. The programmable ESC features a low voltage cutoff, as well as overheating protection. The brushless 4068 2100Kv motor is fitted with an aluminum heat sink and electric cooling fan for consistent cooling and performance. The Kaiju EXT’s four aluminum threaded body oil-filled coil-over shocks are super smooth and provide excellent damping. The suspension is completely adjustable and tunable for most driving conditions and comes pretuned for most surfaces.
Because of its massive power capabilities, the Kaiju EXT features an adjustable wheelie bar with rubber wheels for additional stability control. Lowering the adjustable wheelie bar keeps the Kaiju EXT’s front tires closer to the ground, though if you're hard on the throttle, you can expect the front treads to air out. Long wheelies are something you can expect while driving the Kaiju EXT. It’s incredibly powerful!
Licensed IROC Sniper M/T belted off road tires keep their composure at any speed, while the aggressive tread pattern finds traction on almost any surface. The IROC Sniper M/T’s internal belts eliminate high speed expansion and ballooning during donuts and wheelies.
